While Bekah Sirrine currently leads all brand creative at Instagram, she actually started out in the art world. But after three years of hustling everything from Degas to Kahlo, she grew increasingly curious about the opposite: making art in the service of commerce. Now in marketing, with a background in design and a passion for storytelling, she has led the creation of iconic campaigns for Nike/Jordan (at W+K), Target (72andSunny) and Apple Watch (Apple). In 2016, Bekah was hired to build Instagram’s global brand creative team, where she now leads a department of creatives, designers and producers dedicated to bringing the IG brand to life. She lives in the woods with her photogenic Shiba Inu, Foxy.
