Déborah Cherenfant joined TD Bank Group in 2020 as Regional Director, Women Entrepreneurs, Quebec Region. Since her arrival in Quebec in 2005, Déborah has been involved in economic development and women's leadership.
Today, she is mainly involved as a board member of the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal, Bonjour Startup Montréal, the KANPE Foundation active in Haiti, and Humanov-is in social innovation. She is the past chair of Compagnie F, entrepreneurship pour femmes. In 2018, she was appointed to the Conseil du statut de la femme by Quebec’s Conseil des ministres.
With degrees in international economics and entrepreneurship, Déborah has applied her strategic skills over the past decade in consulting, business startup and financing, and entrepreneurship program development. She has also created companies such as the blog Mots d'Elles, fashion and design studio Atelier Coloré and pop-up store Marché Coloré. She also co-founded BiAS, a cultural and artistic think tank promoting diversity.
Today, Déborah Cherenfant is president and spokesperson for the Junior Chamber of Commerce of Montreal, the largest in the world. She is a business commentator on Tout Un Matin on ICI Première and an economy blogger for Les Affaires.
