Habi Gerba is President of, and designer at, the businesswomen's clothing line Gazelles. At the age of 16, Habi started following her entrepreneurial mother to business meetings and began encountering powerful, passionate women from many different sectors. She fell in love with the strength and ambition that some women have and challenged herself to contribute to their success in her own way… by dressing them!
Habi obtained a diploma in fashion design from Cégep Marie-Victorin, continued her studies at HEC Montréal in business management, and in 2016 was awarded the Lieutenant-Governor's Medal for Youth for her social involvement. She then launched Gazelles, a company specializing in the production of high-end clothing and image management for businesswomen. In 2021, she received the Black Designers of Canada Award of Excellence and launched OSEZ, a podcast that aims to encourage women to "dare" to dream and to offer new models of success to young girls. The podcast hosts great women from Quebec such as Nadine Renaud-Tinker (President of RBC Bank Quebec), Kathy Baig (President of the Quebec Order of Engineers), and entrepreneurs Danièle Henkel, Vickie Joseph and Jessica Harnois.
Habi is also President of Groupe AE, a consulting group founded by her parents in 1995, which specializes in government communications and public relations. In addition, she sits on the Board of Directors of the Quebec Businesswomen's Network (RFAQ) and the Advisory Board of the prestigious Montreal Museum of Fine Arts Foundation Ball.
