The next-gen narrator

It takes sharp storytelling to cut through the (increasingly loud) noise these days, but Jessica Lauretti clearly has the edge. Jessica puts engaging modern narratives first as the Global Head of RYOT Studio, Oath Inc.'s award-winning creative studio representing AOL, Yahoo, Huff Post and their 40-plus publisher brands. Working alongside RYOT Films and RYOT Lab, she leads over a dozen Studio teams from NYC to Hong Kong, strategizing how brands can effectively reach their consumers through thoughtful storytelling, including interactive experiences that involve VR, AR and 360 video. Throughout her work across art, tech, politics and culture with editorial, branded and advertising content, Jessica has been profiled by many major media outlets and speaks regularly at events around the world. An award-winning creative director and producer, Jessica was formerly Director of Content Development at Purpose, where she oversaw innovative campaigns, content and distribution strategies while building a video department from the ground up. Previous to that, she served as Senior Story Producer at VICE and director of the Tribeca Teaches program at the Tribeca Film Institute.
“Storytelling is an ancient way for humans to connect over a shared experience, so it only makes sense that brands would be interested in utilizing that format.”
