Katie Emery is the Director of Global Marketing at The Washington Post. She’s responsible for the core teams dedicated to creating new advertising revenue opportunities across all Post platforms, including print, digital, video, mobile, audio and social. Katie worked on the launch of the WP BrandStudio. In her role, she’s responsible for product marketing, custom content and marketing solutions customized for the global sales team. Katie is also the chief liaison between the advertising, engineering and editorial teams. She has more than 20 years of experience in advertising marketing. Prior to joining The Post, Katie served as a liaison with the newsroom and business teams, and developed innovative advertising sponsorship opportunities at USA Today.
