Lauren Wesley Wilson is a catalyst for change. She was spurred to action while working as a communications specialist after observing a conspicuous lack of diversity among media professionals. Her change-making solution lay not only in networking professional women of colour within media and advertising, but also in creating a platform for recognizing their brands and accomplishments. Within a year, Lauren's quarterly group luncheons grew into ColorComm Network, a national membership organization. As president, Lauren oversees 30-plus partners (including The Coca-Cola Company, Toyota and Google), 500-plus members, an annual conference, ColorComm Media Group, the online communications industry magazine, and offices in Washington, D.C., New York, Chicago, Atlanta and Los Angeles.
