Marie Pier Germain
An active member of the family business, Germain Hôtels, since its inception, and having always worked alongside its property development teams, Marie Pier began her career in Alberta with the development of the company's first property complex. With a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Queen's University and an MBA from HEC-McGill, it goes without saying that Marie Pier's knowledge and skills are a great asset to the company. At Germain Hôtels, Marie Pier quickly took the operations helm at the Hôtel Alt Montréal, where she put her ability to transform human energy into a driving force to good use on a daily basis.
Today, as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Germain Hôtels, Marie Pier exemplifies the entrepreneurial values passed on by her family, which has been involved in business endeavours for several generations. Her determination, her desire to innovate and her willingness to put Canadian talent forward are the focal points of her results-oriented approach.
Nurtured by a strong sense of curiosity and a desire to contribute and give back, Marie Pier is involved with various organizations that are close to her heart and in which she sincerely believes, such as the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, Tourisme Montréal, Lab-École and La Dauphinelle. As a member of one of the largest hotel groups in the country, she is also involved in tourism associations and regularly participates in conferences and training sessions on the topics of customer experience and new entrepreneurship. Marie Pier has a great passion for the arts and is Vice-Chair of the Board of the Canada Council for the Arts.
