Selena Lu is a lawyer in the Commercial Law Group of Lapointe, Rosenstein, Marchand and Melançon, and her practice consists of advising SMEs on their business law issues. She is also frequently retained by international clients to provide commercial law advice on investment and expansion in Canada. Along with her strong business acumen, Selena also has extensive experience in governance. Apart from her role as the President of the Junior Chamber of Commerce of Montréal, she has also been on several boards of directors of nonprofit organizations including the Young Chinese Professional Association, the Caisse Desjardins De Lorimier-Villeray and the Montréal Chinese Garden Society. She is also currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal, the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec, and the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés. In 2016, she was a finalist in the “Female Leadership” category of the Grands Prix de la relève d’affaires of the Regroupement des jeunes chambres de commerce du Québec, and in 2017 Selena was awarded the Lily of Diversity Award for her social and community involvement.
