Host and commentator

Eugénie Lépine-Blondeau is a bilingual host and commentator living in Montreal.

After studying classical singing, she turned to political science and completed a master’s degree. Her passion for singing never left her, however, and she returned to it to first host a feminist and queer show on CISM — the Université de Montréal’s student radio station — and then moved on to Radio-Canada first as a researcher and later as a commentator and host.

Since 2019, she has been the culture commentator for Ici Première’s morning show Tout un matin, hosted by Patrick Masbourian. She occasionally hosts radio shows as well, including C’est ma tournée (summer 2021), Femmes de la situation (March 2021), Carte blanche à Eugénie Lépine-Blondeau (January 2021), and Fière allure (June 2020). Using her remarkable ability to adapt and listen, Eugénie covers topics she is passionate about while showing a strong and genuine interest in her guests from diverse backgrounds.

You can also see and hear her on the On va se le dire (Ici Télé) and On dira ce qu’on voudra (Ici Première) shows.

As a moderator/interviewer, Eugénie is regularly invited to address sexual and gender diversity issues, including with organizations like Quebec Lesbian Network and Fierté au travail/Pride at work.

Eugénie has a warm and festive nature and an undeniable love for karaoke. You might even catch her passionately hosting a bingo night or two!
